Think you have what it takes to escape the Cariboo’s newest high-adrenaline challenge?
You’ll have to pay a visit to Cariboo Escape in Quesnel to find out.
This heart-pumping experience starts when you and your team of up to six people are locked in one of two themed rooms, tasked with finding clues, solving puzzles and escaping before the 60 minutes on the clock runs out.
It’s been touted as the perfect activity for birthday parties, corporate team building, or simply a fun and unique night out for friends.
Open since December, Cariboo Escape is the first of its kind in the region, following the hugely popular model of similar escape rooms in the Lower Mainland.
The Quesnel location offers two themed rooms – Billy Barker’s Blunder, which tasks participants to find the hidden gold to trade as randsom; and Off to Wonderland, in which participants must escape the wrath of the evil Queen of Hearts.
Staff at Cariboo Escape say the rooms have both been well received by participants, and have had great feedback since opening in the winter.
For those wanting to try their hand at making a great escape, pre-bookings online are required. The rooms are also kid-friendly, which makes for a fun, family adventure, though staff do note any young children will require full supervision throughout their stay.
